Cantina San Martino in Rio is an agricultural cooperative society.
Our grapes are the grapes of our members: they come from over 1,300 hectares of vineyards cultivated in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, which have always been suitable for the production of Ancellotta and Lambrusco in its Grasparossa, Sorbara, Salamino and Reggiano varieties, as well as Pignoletto Doc.
FROM THE GRAPE TO THE BOTTLE:
A SHORT CHAIN PRODUCTION
State-of-the-art pressing and vinification plants allow us to get the most out of the grapes from our vineyards throughout the entire production process and to produce one of the highest quantities of wine produced in a single plant.
The origin of our members’ grapes from the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia allows us to boast products of controlled origin from both provinces.
